Approve or reject leave requests

From Approvals

1. Open Admin → Approvals and select the Leave filter.
2. Check the dates, type and reason on each card.
3. Select Approve, or Reject and give a reason. The employee is notified either way.

From the Leave page

1. Open Leave and select the Pending filter.
2. Select Approve or Reject. A note is required when you reject.

Who can approve what

• Owner and HR Admin: any request.
• Manager: pending requests from their direct reports.
• HR Staff: requests that have been escalated.
• Nobody can approve or reject their own request.

If nobody acts

When someone submits a request, their manager is notified, so make sure every employee has a manager set in their profile. A request still pending after 3 days is escalated to HR automatically.
